My painting is a reflection of my world of studying and engaging in literature, music, writing, history, and philosophy. The paintings are displayed here as one part of this life-long engagement with the arts and humanities, and trace my progress since 2006 when I began oil painting.

My legal career has been spent as a trial lawyer specializing in civil rights law and criminal law. I have also been the manager of a program dedicated to alleviating the problems of world hunger.
